GOAL
To create a vibrant, game-based interactive experience for children and families that would integrate naturally into the educational journey of “The Journey of Water” exhibition. The main objective was to engage children with the subjects of ecology and the importance of water through physical interaction, instant on-screen feedback, and an intuitive game scenario—without relying on a lecture-based format.
CONCEPT
“The Journey of Water” is a family-oriented multimedia adventure exploring water as the primary source of life and energy on Earth. Within this journey, the “Water Shooting Gallery” became an active play zone where visitors do not simply learn about the importance of water but interact with it directly.
Participants aim streams of water from water cannons at the screen, hit active targets, and trigger visual responses, helping to restore the natural environment and overcome a drought. This format creates a powerful wow effect, immediately draws visitors into the game, and makes the educational subject emotionally engaging and easy to understand.
THE EDUCATIONAL LAYER
The interactive installation supports the exhibition’s central idea: demonstrating why water is essential to nature, cities, and human life.
Through the game-based challenge of “overcoming the drought,” children can clearly see the connection between water and the condition of the environment. Learning takes place through action: instead of simply reading a fact, the child actively participates in restoring the water ecosystem.
