Attract new buyers, stimulate orders in the online store.

CONCEPT

Samokat celebrated its 7th anniversary in 2024. In honor of the anniversary, the brand decided to launch a promotional campaign in two popular malls in Moscow and St. Petersburg – Aviapark Mall (Moscow) and Gallery Mall (St. Petersburg). We developed one activity for the interactive stand. The event lasted for a month: initially launched in Moscow for two weeks, then in St. Petersburg.

STAND

Players registered with the promo staff, approached the stand, started the game, and earned tickets upon completing it. The tickets could be exchanged for Samokat promotional products.

GAME

The puzzle game tested players’ logic. The goal was to correctly connect all elements of the pipeline to deliver the products to the basket. Movement between segments of the game field was controlled with a joystick, and the operation was confirmed with buttons.

There were four levels, and as the game progressed, complexity and variety of elements increased. The game was time-limited. After completing the game, players received tickets.

GAME DETAILS

We paid special attention to the game field. In addition to UI design, we planned the placement and appearance of all game elements, rendering them in a 3D style. The game featured both regular pipes and animated conveyors, fans, and "carousel" shelves. We also rendered 3D products that moved along the pipeline toward the basket (or to the place of the error in case of failure). The product selection reflected typical online store items: croissants, yogurts, chocolates, wafers, and ice cream.

TICKETS

We developed a design concept for both the game and the paper tickets. The dispenser issued tickets after each game session. The player tore them off and went to the promoter to claim a prize. This was a tribute to amusement park tickets and nostalgia for the tear-off tickets saved as a souvenir. There were three different designs: ice cream, cheese, and croissant. The back of the ticket featured the Samokat logo. The better the game completion, the more tickets were awarded.
